Why go: New York City is the no-brainer leader of this list. To lead things off, no city has a wider variety of nightlife options than NYC. There are a million ways to spend an evening, whether it's sipping cosmos in a trendy SoHo lounge, participating in a never-ending bar crawl in the East Village or just getting lost somewhere in Brooklyn.
